Anthony LaCalamita's wife's attorney Jose Fanego has issued this statement on behalf of Mrs. LaCalamita.On behalf of Michele LaCalamita, wife of alleged gunman Anthony LaCalamita, her attorney Jose R. Fanego conveys that Mrs. LaCalamita’s heart goes out to the victims of her husband’s actions. Mrs. LaCalamita was estranged from her husband for over three weeks and did not reside with him at the time of this horrible tragedy. She prays for those whose lives were affected by this incident, but requests her privacy be respected, and does not wish to have any contact with the press or news media. Mrs. LaCalamita has cooperated fully with the Troy Police Department, and beyond that cooperation, can shed no light on what happened nor why it happened.
