Burning Body Found In Hamtramck

Woman Found Fire In Alley

Hamtramck police have one suspect in custody and are questioning another person about a burned body was found Wednesday night in the alley behind a home near Yemens and Alpena.

A woman was taking her trash out and spotted an unidentified object burning, Local 4 reported. She called the Fire Department.

Firefighters responded and put out the fire. They then discovered that a corpse had been lit ablaze.

The body has not yet been identified. Police continue to investigate.

No other information was available.
