TAYLOR, Mich. -- A couple raising three boys turned to MySpace.com in search of a baby girl.
Now, the Taylor couple said they've found an expectant mother who is willing to let them adopt her baby.
Sherry and Karl Dittmar first posted their request for a baby girl on the popular Web social site in April.
Facing fertility issues, and frustrated with foster care, Dittmar said her family of five with three young boys would love a baby girl to make it six.
"If there is a mother kind of on the fence between abortion and adoption, perhaps seeing our page and knowing there are families out there that are looking will steer them toward an adoption," Karl Dittmar told Local 4 when we first aired the story.
They said an unidentified Detroit-area woman orally agreed to give them her daughter upon her birth in July.
The next step is to contact an agency to go through the proper steps.
