NOVI, Mich. -- A zamboni ice-clearing machine caught fire at the Novi Ice Arena Wednesday night.
The arena was evacuated during a Novi High School hockey practice after propane tanks on a zamboni machine exploded.
City officials said the zamboni had a hydraulic leak, which caused the fire.
There were no injuries.
The arena is open Thursday.
