ROSEVILLE, Mich. -- A third suspect was arrested in connection to the two-day rape and torture of a Roseville woman on New Year's Eve.
The third suspect, whose identity will not be released until after his arraignment on Monday, was arrested on Saturday.
One suspect remains at large, and a man and woman have already been arraigned on various felony charges in connection to the incident.
The victim, a 30-year-old Roseville woman, remains hospitalized after she told police she was repeatedly raped and tortured in her apartment on Kelly Road beginning on New Year's Eve and ending on Jan.2.
The victim told police she recently met two of the suspects and invited them to her house on New Year's Eve. When the two people arrived, they brought two more people with them, according to the victim.
An argument broke out between the four and they began assaulting the woman for two days, the victim told police.
Police said the woman was sexually assaulted, badly beaten and tortured. She had numerous burns on her body after the suspects poured bleach on her.
Terri Ann Jackson, 19, of Roseville was charged with three felonies: torture, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and armed robbery.
Cassion Marquette Crowell, 20, of Detroit was charged with five felonies: first-degree criminal sexual conduct, torture, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, assault with a dangerous weapon and armed robbery.
If convicted, both suspects face life in prison.
Judge Joseph Boedeker of the 39th District Court ordered a $1 million cash bond for Crowell and a $500,000 cash bond for Jackson.
The woman remains hospitalized, but her condition is unknown.
Detectives continue to search for the fourth suspect.
