WYANDOTTE, Mich. -- Ronald Ilitch, the oldest child of Detroit Red Wings and Tigers owner Mike Ilitch and his wife, Marian, is in trouble with the law, Local 4 reported.
Ronald Ilitch, 44, was arrested Tuesday night in Wyandotte on disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphenalia charges.
Wyandotte police said that the suspect was seen driving near First and Oak streets shortly after 11 p.m. The city's annual fireworks display had just ended and the streets were crowded with people who had gathered to watch.
Ilitch was allegedly involved in a fight with an unidentified person in the area, Local 4 reported. He was taken into custody and later posted bond and was released.
Police have impounded his car, a 1992 Cadillac sedan, under drug forfeiture laws, according to the station.
Local 4 reported in 2001 that Ilitch has had brushes with the law before, including an incident in which he ran into several parked cars on Livernois.
He has had three DUI convictions and has had his license suspended twice, according to the station.
