Anti-Semitic Graffiti Sprayed On Truck, Building,

South Lyon police are investigating numerous claims of vandalism in Lyon Township.

A home in the 58000 block of Grand River Ave., the Lyon Township hall, a state-owned vehicle were vandalized with anti-Semitic messages.

According to the police, a 63-year-old homeowner called March 15 and said his garage, a dump truck, the truck cap, trencher and various pieces of discarded machinery was spray-painted.

Police said it the vandals knew the family because the son's name was spray-painted, along with the word 'Jew' and Nazi symbols and other designs.

A few days later, the township office and vehicle were both spray-painted.

The color of the paint appears similar, police reported.
