Teen Charged With Torturing, Killing Cat

WESTLAND, Mich. -- A Westland teenager has been charged with sodomizing, torturing and killing a cat.Police said Todd Allan Treviso, 18, was staying at a friend's house in the 2000 block of Stieber, near Wildwood and Palmer streets on April 4 when the alleged incident took place.The cat, named Magic, was left to die on a neighbor's front porch. The cat's mouth was duct-taped shut, police said.Police said Traviso has had "a troubled past."If convicted, he could face penalties ranging up to 15 years in prison.
