DETROIT -- Firefighters rescued a man Monday who was stuck inside an elevator at the First National building on Woodward Avenue.
An electrical transformer fire in the basement caused the elevator to lose power and make a dead stop, said firefighters.
Firefighters broke in between the walls of the 5th and 6th floor to rescue Nino Cutraro.
Cutraro is the owner of the Enoteca inside of the building and told Local 4 he will be taking the stairs from now on.
No injuries were reported.
