DETROIT -- Former President Bill Clinton will be in Detroit on Thursday to raise money for the presidential campaign of his wife, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.
The private dinner will be held at Opus 1 in downtown Detroit; tickets to the event cost $500 and $1,000.
Mr. Clinton is not expected to hold any public events while in Michigan Thursday.
Sen. Clinton, Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. John McCain released their April fundraising efforts Tuesday.
Obama entered May sitting comfortably atop more than $37 million. McCain had nearly $22 million in hand. Clinton, once the Democrats' presidential front-runner, was in the red.
