MONROE, Mich. -- The body of a fisherman was found in Lake Erie around 9 a.m. Thursday about three miles off the Bolles Harbor shore, said the Monroe County's Sheriff's Department.

The body was identified as 42-year-old Scott Price, from Tecumseh. Police said Price reportedly fell off his boat while fishing with another man near Bolles Harbor last Thursday.

Rescue crews and the U.S. Coast Guard searched more than 400 miles of western Lake Erie immediately after the accident was reported and did not find anything.

Investigators said there were no signs of trauma to the body, but they believe he was not wearing a life jacket.
