Filmmaker Seeking Extras

Filmmakers are looking for thousands of extras to appear in a film directed by Drew Barrymore.
Barrymore's production company Flower Films will be producing it.
The film, Whip It, will be filmed in Saline and it is expected to start filming July 28-31, Aug. 1, Aug. 4-8 and Aug. 11.
The movie stars Ellen Page. It is about a teenage girl who discovers the world of roller derby. Parts of the movie are expected to be shot in Saline, Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti.
Individuals 18 to 50, all walks of life from punk rockers to roller derby fans are invited to send their information to

The casting company said extras will receive $7.40 an hour and get overtime if they're on set for more than eight working hours.
