Police Investigate Fatal Car Shooting

Detroit police said a 8-year-old girl and a 39-year-old man were shot while stopped at a traffic light on Schoolcraft and Virgil roads on the city's west side.
Police said the car behind them opened fire, killing the driver and striking the girl in the face.
The girl is recovering at Sinai-Grace hospital, police said.
There were other passengers in the car, but police said they were unharmed.
Police do not have anyone in custody and no description of the shooter's car was available.
