Serial Macomb Bank Robber At Large

POSTED: Wednesday, July 2, 2008
UPDATED: 5:56 pm EDT July 2, 2008

Police are searching for a man suspected of robbing an Eastpointe TCF Bank Sunday.

A man walked into the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money. The teller said he implied he had a gun under his clothing.

Police believe the man obtained $2,000 in cash and fled in a newer model black Jeep Commander.

The man is suspected of robbing the Key Bank on Gratiot Avenue in Roseville Tuesday.

The robber is described as black, 6 foot 2 inches, with a slim build, about 20 years old, with short hair and a goatee and mustache.

Police said he was wearing a "New Era" Detroit Tigers baseball hat, a white shirt, black acid washed jeans and white gym shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Eastpointe Police Department at 586-445-5100.
