CANTON, Mich. -- Plymouth-Canton Community Schools are imposing a much stricter dress code for the new school year and summer students are the first to try out the beefed-up rules.
Students will be prohibited from wearing low-rider jeans, pants torn above the knee, skin-tight leggings worn as pants and ultrashort skirts.
Students who violate the strict dress codes will be subject to consequences ranging from Saturday detention for the first violation to a three-day suspension for four-time offenders.
