GARDEN CITY, Mich. -- A local heating and cooling company was forced to pay thousands after thieves stole parts from more than 15 trucks in their fleet.
The manager of Family Heating and Cooling in Garden City, Mike Miller, said two catalytic converters from each work truck were stolen last week.
"We can't afford to lose any jobs. We've never missed a job," said Miller.
The company worked hard to get their fleets back so they could keep all of their appointments the next day.
Surveilliance cameras did catch shadowy images of the thieves. Police are investigating.
The company said there was more than $8,000 in damage.
