Booster Mom Sentenced On Embezzlement Charges

TROY, Mich. -- A former member of the Troy Athens High School Booster organization pleaded no contest on Monday to charges she embezzled nearly $6,000 from the club.
Police said Margaret Bazin, 46, took the money when she handled concessions for the volunteer group. She was accused of spending the money on personal purchases.
Bazin was sentenced on Monday to probation and was ordered to repay $3,600 to the club within the next seven days.
