Ann Arbor Man Fights Off Attackers

An Ann Arbor man told police he fought off two attackers who tried to rob him Monday night.

The 25-year-old said he was walking home near Platt and Canterbury roads on the city's south side at 11 p.m. when he noticed two men following him.

He told police the men asked for cigarettes. He told the men he didn't have any and continued to walk away. according to the police report.

Once he turned around, the two men punched him several times and demanded money, the victim said.

He told police he punched the men back and they ran away.

He was not seriously injured.

Anyone with information should call Ann Arbor police.
