Springsteen Rocks Eastern Michigan Univ. For Obama

YPSILANTI, Mich. -- Veteran rocker Bruce Springsteen was in Ypsilanti Monday to corral support for Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.

He held a free acoustic concert Sunday in front of a crowd of about 10,000 at Ohio State University in Columbus.
He performed the previous day in Philadelphia.
Springsteen's appearance Sunday was aimed at encouraging Obama supporters to take advantage of Ohio's week-long same-day voting period, which ends today when voter registration ends.
Michigan's voter registration deadline is Oct. 6.
