An 18-year-old Northern Michigan man has been killed after crashing a stolen taxi.
The Traverse City Record-Eagle reports the man was thrown from the cab Saturday morning near a Traverse City hotel and was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name was not immediately released.
At the time of the crash, police were investigating a report of the theft of an unattended cab about 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
