Campus Martius Annual Tree Lighting A Hit

Campus Martius Park opened the holiday season with the annual lighting of the City of Detroit's Holiday Tree on Friday with family fun for all.

Figure skating greats such as Alissandra Aronow and Aleksandr Pirogov of the Arctic Figure Skating Club were a hit. Also, U.S national competitor William Brewster and Junior Paris competitors Megan Gueli and Grant Marron represented the Detroit Skating Club.

Music performances by KEM, Bill Moss, Jr., Dive of Funky Blues, The University of Detroit Jesuit Show Choir and many others accompanied the event.

The tree lighting was at 8:15 p.m.
