A local teen was attacked on Tuesday in a snowy lot behind a home on Chapel and Grand River streets, just a few doors from her home and a block away from the 8th Precinct, Local 4 reported.

The Redford High School freshman was walking home from school when a man dragged her into a backyard and allegedly raped her, according to police.

Before the attacker fled the scene, he reminded the teen that he had her driver's license and that he knew where she lived, Local 4 reported.

No witnesses have come forward, but police were able to develop a composite sketch of the alleged rapist, with the help of the victim.

The man is described as a 5-foot-7-inch tall black male, 20 to 30 years old, approximately 200 pounds, with a scruffy beard and glasses.

Detroit police are asking that anyone with information contact the department at (313) 596-2200.
