4 Die In Separate Crashes On Icy Mich. Roads

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Some roads on the western and eastern side of the state remain slippery and snow-covered as another winter storm moves into Michigan.
Local 4Casters said the light freezing rain Friday morning will turn into rain showers in the afternoon as temperatures continue to rise. '
Authorities have yet to release the names of two women killed Thursday in a head-on crash in Surrey Township. A male driver also was critically injured after one of the vehicles went out of control and hit the other.
Michigan State Police officials said 18-year-old Amber N. Kulju died Wednesday from injuries she suffered in a two-car traffic crash in Negaunee Township.
The Grand Rapids Press and television stations WOOD, WZZM and WWMT also report that a 17-year-old Zeeland boy was killed when a pickup truck slipped off an icy street and flipped into a water-filled ditch. Another teen was injured.
