Mich. Sees Flood Warnings; Power Outages Linger
35,000 DTE Customers Still Without Power

DETROIT -- The National Weather Service said snow is expected to return to the state in force starting Tuesday.
Four to 6 inches are expected in northern Lower Michigan Beginning Tuesday afternoon and continuing overnight.
Local 4Casters said 2 to 5 inches of snow is expected for southeastern Michigan and occasional wind gusts of 40 mph are expected.
A Winter Weather Advisory will go into effect for parts of southeast Michigan at 5 p.m.

Flood warnings are in effect for areas along most of the Lower Peninsula's major rivers and streams as crews work to restore electrical service to thousands left without power since the weekend.
About 20,000 of 183,000 CMS Energy customers in Michigan who lost electrical service during Sunday's storms are without service this morning.
About 35,000 of 230,000 DTE Energy customers are waiting for their power to be restored.
Wayne County is reporting 11,000 outages, Oakland County still has 9,000 residents in the dark and 3,000 people are without power in Macomb.
The power companies expect service to be fully restored by Wednesday.
The energy company has called in 300 workers from Ohio and Indiana to work around the clock.
