DETROIT -- Two more people were arraigned Monday in connection with the slaying of a Lathrup Village restaurant manager.
Catherine Solinski-Blain, 21, was shot to death outside the Rib Rack Restaurant last October while sitting in her car. She was married and pregnant at the time.
Deandre Sturgis, 19, of Beverly Hills, was charged with murder and Brandon Davis, 20, of Southfield, was charged as an accessory.
Police had already arrested 15-year-old Jerome Hamilton in November in connection with Solinski-Blain's death and said at the time of that arrest they knew more people had been involved. He will be in court Friday to face open murder charges with the other suspects.
In addition to the Lathrup Village location, there is also a Rib Rack restaurant in Waterford. Owners said Solinski-Blain did work at both locations.
"This is a terrible tragedy for our restaurant family," said Mark Tomas, Rib Rack co-owner. "We want to do all we can to assist Catherine's family in their time of grief."
Police said Solinski-Blain was targeted for the attack, but they do not believe robbery was a motive because nothing was stolen. The investigation focuses on the restaurant surveillance video and interviews with co-workers.
