Former Macomb County sheriff William Hackel is up for parole in April.
The Michigan Court of Appeals recently rejected an appeal to have his rape conviction thrown out.
Hackel (pictured, left) is currently serving a 3- to 15-year sentence for raping a woman.
Hackel's lawyers say the same woman has claimed she was assaulted by four different men over the course of her life.
Hackel plans to appeal the conviction to the Michigan Supreme Court.
