Woman Injured In Stolen Vehicle Crash

DETROIT -- A woman was injured in a crash Tuesday morning after a teen driving a stolen vehicle ran a red light on Detroit's eastside, Detroit police said.
Detroit police said the driver of a stolen white SUV began speeding after he thought a Warren police officer on a motorcycle was watching him.
However, Warren police said they were involved with another incident at the time.

Teen Runs Red Light, Injures Woman The teen driver speed through a light at speeds of 70 mph on Sherwood Avenue at 7 Mile Road and T-boned a woman driving a black SUV, Detroit police said.
Police had to pull the woman, who was wearing her seat belt, out of the passenger window. She was taken to an area hospital.
Her husband told Local 4 she is expected to be OK.
The driver of the stolen vehicle was arrested. The three other passengers in the stolen vehicle fled the scene and are at large.
"It's tough. People need to stop doing all that. Somebody could have got killed. That ain't right," said witness Christea More.
