CLAWSON, Mich. -- Police are looking for a man who they believe robbed two CVS pharmacies in the past month.
The man struck again Tuesday morning and robbed a Clawson CVS pharmacy of Vicodin and OxyContin Tuesday morning.
The armed man entered the store around 8 a.m. Tuesday, brandished a gun, and handed the pharmacist a note.
"I want OxyContin and Vicodin. I have a gun. Don't make me use it," the note stated.
Police said the robber stole a large quantity of OxyContin and Vicodin and fled the store.
"Nobody got hurt. There was no shooting, but obviously it is a very serious incident. The pharmacist is very shaken up," said Clawson Police Lt. Scott Sarvello.
Sarvello said he believes the thief is not only a user, but also a seller because of the large quantity of drugs that were stolen.
Investigators believe the same man robbed another CVS Drug Store in Eastpointe on May 12 because surveillance images show the man wearing the same sweater in both robberies.
The surveillance camera at the Eastpointe CVS was not able to capture the robber's face, only his body from neck down.
The thief is a white man in his 20s.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Clawson Police Department.
