TAYLOR, Mich. -- Police in Taylor are searching for a man who robbed a Fifth Third Bank branch on Tuesday.
They say the bank robber wore a Detroit Pistons jacket.
The robber entered the Fifth Third Bank on Telegraph Road and gave a note to a teller. The note demanded money and said the clerk would be hurt if she did not comply. The robber did not display a weapon, but kept one hand in a pocket.
Taylor police described the robber as a white man in his late 20s. He was nearly 6 feet tall and weighed 150 pounds. Along with the Detroit Pistons jacket, the robber wore a white baseball cap with the Old English "D" on the front.
Police said the robber had short brown hair and decaying teeth. They said he spoke with a slur.
