White Ford Fusion Stolen From Westland Meijer Store

WESTLAND, Mich. -- A dog, wheelchair, walker and car are missing, and Westland police are asking for the public's help in finding them.Police said a white 2009 Ford Fusion was stolen Monday while it was parked outside the Meijer store on Warren Road.Police said a man left the vehicle running in a handicap parking space while he went to help his wife carry out groceries.Taken with the couple's car was their black and white shih tzu, which was wearing a collar with a city of Wayne dog tag. A wheelchair and walker were also inside the car.The car has a Michigan license plate of 4104F1.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Westland Police Department at 734-722-9600.
