2 critically injured after motorcycle, car collide in Lyndon Township on Territorial Road

Riders critically injured after motorcycle, car crash in Washtenaw County

LYNDON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Michigan State Police responded to an accident involving a car and a motorcycle in Lyndon Township on Wednesday.

The minivan and motorcycle were both traveling west on North Territorial Road in Washtenaw County when witnesses said the minivan turned into a private drive as the motorcycle attempted to pass the on the same side.

Two people on the motorcycle, both from Howell sustained critical injuries.

The minivan was occupied by six college interns from U of M, and they did not report any injuries.

U of M Life Flight was dispatched to the scene and both of the riders from the motorcycle were air-lifted to the Hospital.

Neither rider was wearing a helmet.

Alcohol or speed does not appear to be a factor in this crash.
