2 Ford employees hurt in chemical incident in Brownstown Township

Automaker hasn't said conditions of employees; facility remains open

BROWNSTOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Ford Motor Company says two of its employees were hurt in a "workplace incident involving chemicals" Tuesday morning.

The incident happened at a building in the automaker's complex in Brownstown Township, which is off Pennsylvania Road near Beech Daly Road.

Sky4 was over the scene as a hazmat crew suited up and went into a building.

In a statement, Ford said the incident was contained to a small area and the facility was still operating as scheduled.

Ford didn't comment on what injuries the employees had suffered.
