Two men have been convicted of murder in the shooting death of a Wayne State University football player.
Anton Blevins and Quintin King were found guilty Friday after a seven-day trial for the killing of Courtney "Cortez" Smith. Smith was shot to death May 5, 2011 near Club Envy on Larned Street in Detroit.

King was convicted of first degree murder and six counts of assault with intent to murder and felony fireman. Blevins was convicted of second degree murder and six counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm and felony firearm.
