RIVER ROUGE, Mich. -

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads police to two people who are wanted in connection with the robbery of a 13-year-old at a McDonald's in River Rouge.

The teen was robbed at gunpoint of $350 cash and a Gucci belt and necklace Tuesday night in the bathroom of the fast-food restaurant at 10955 W. Jefferson Ave.

Police have released a picture of two teens who they say followed the victim into the bathroom and robbed him.

"When he went into the restroom they engaged him, basically they robbed him for a belt and a necklace," said Sgt. John Poe, of the River Rouge Police Department.

Sitting down with two girls, the thieves noticed the boys in the corner and tracked one as he got up with his backpack on to go to the bathroom. They then go to the bathroom and peeked in to make sure no one else is in there.

The young boy told his mother, Shirley Williams, what went down when one of the two men put a gun to his head and told him to give up his belt and necklace.

"They kind of pushed the door hard, 'Oh, we scared you,'" said Williams. "As soon as my son hesitated he cocked the gun back, and my son started to pull the belt off. When he hesitated, he cocked the gun."

Police said two other teen girls are thought to have helped them by driving the getaway car, a black hatchback -- possibly a Ford Fiesta.
