2 women, baby killed in Bad Axe fire

Fire late Wednesday night remains under investigation

The Bad Axe Area Fire Department is investigating the cause of a fire late Wednesday night that claimed the lives of two women and a baby girl. The fire was contained to one unit of the State Apartments on S Van Dyke in Bad Axe.

Neighbors say the women are from Bad Axe and their families are mourning their loss. The names of those killed have not been released at this time.
