Wrong-Way Crash Results In 1 Death

DETROIT -- A man is pronounced dead after a fatal car accident occurred on southbound M-10 near Larned early Friday morning.Detroit Police reported that a man was driving northbound on the southbound lanes of M-10 when his vehicle crashed into a car traveling southbound.The wrong-way driver was pronounced dead upon arrival at Detroit Receiving Hospital. A passenger in the wrong-way vehicle and the other driver were taken to Detroit Receiving Hospital as well and are currently listed in fair condition.Police said that alcohol is being considered a factor in the crash. An investigation is pending.Police are asking for any witnesses of the crash or anyone with information about the wrong-way driver to contact MSP Detroit Post at 313-456-6600.
