Man, 53, Killed In Motorcycle Crash
Motorcycle Hits Bicyclist

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A 53-year-old motorcyclist died late Thursday evening when he lost control of his bike in Clinton Township.
Police said the Clinton Township resident was riding along Clinton River Road with some friends around 8:30 p.m. when he turned too fast and lost control of his bike and hit a cemetery fence.
"The motorcycle basically careened off the fence and skidded off the sidewalk," said Clinton Township Lt. Anthony Greene.

Clinton Township Man Killed In Crash The motorcyclist was thrown in the air and his motorcycle hit a man riding on a bicycle nearby, police said.
The man on the bicycle, Vernon Sosnoski, 66, of Clinton Township, told Local 4 he witnessed the crash before he was clipped by the bike.
"He hit the gravel and spun out of control and hit the fence," said Sosnowski.
Sosnowski was taken to an area hospital. Doctors told him he may have a broken neck.
Police have not released the name of the motorcyclist that died.
Clinton River Road, between 17 Mile Road and Romeo Plank Road was shut down the rest of the evening and early Friday while police conducted an accident investigation.
