DETROIT -- A water main break on Detroit's east side Sunday left several residents with low water pressure.
Detroit Water Department spokesperson George Ellenwood said the 36-inch break occurred at about 3 p.m. in the area of Goethe and St. Jean streets.
Ellenwood said the break is affecting water pressure in the immediate area, Grosse Pointe Woods and Grosse Pointe Park.
St. Jean Street will be closed between Jefferson and Mack avenues while crews make repairs.
Ellenwood said water will be shut off during repairs, which are slated to begin Monday morning.
The cause of the break is unknown.
