PONTIAC, Mich. -- Pontiac police said a man fatally shot his brother early Tuesday morning.Police said officers responded to a home in the 100 block of Franklin Road at about 1 a.m. and found a 43-year-old man shot in the head.He was not responsive and later pronounced dead.Police said it appears that the victim and his 43-year-old brother got into an altercation before the shooting occurred.The accused brother is in custody and police said they have recovered a 30-30 rifle, which is suspected to be the weapon used in the shooting.The Pontiac Police Department can be reached at 248-338-1004.
