4 MSU Students Facing Bomb Charges
Students Could Face Up To 20 Years in Jail

LANSING, Mich. -- Four Michigan State University freshman face felony charges of up to 20 years in jail and $15,000 in fines for detonating explosives in an East Lansing Yard.
The suspects, Olivia M. Huson, 18, of Okemos; Darby D. Dudley, 18, of Mason; Sasha N. Savage, 18, of Okemos; and Nikolai E. Wasielewski, 18, of Rossford Ohio were charged with placing explosives and causing property damage and possession of bombs with unlawful intent, after being arrested during a traffic stop in the Holding Hall Service are after midnight on Monday.
According to statement from MSU police, East Lansing police received a call about an explosion in the 400 block of Grove Street.
East Lansing Police Chief Tom Weber said that the students tossed an explosive device out the window of their car and onto the lawn which caused no damage.
After the arrest MSU police officers found two additional explosive devices in the car.
Weber described the explosives as pear-sized firework mortars, which are like fireworks that give off loud noises and white lights.
The Students were arranged Monday in East Lansing's 54-B District Court before judge Richard D. Ball and were released from jail on an undisclosed bond.
