WARREN, Mich. -- Four men have been charged with armed robbery after Warren police said they are suspected of robbing two men overnight Wednesday.
Police said Daniel Jackson, Tony Jackson, Darius Lawrence and Austin Smith were arrested after a 38-year-old man called police to report he had been robbed just before 1 a.m.
The victim told police he was riding his bike home from work when four men in a 1995 Crown Victoria pulled up next to him, got out and robbed him at gunpoint.
The victim was able to report the license plate number and police said the men were pulled over a short time later at 12 Mile Road east of Interstate 94.
Police said the men are also suspected of robbing a 27-year-old as he got out of his car at the Georgetown Apartments on Hoover Road a few minutes before robbing the victim on the bike.
Warren police are working with Hazel Park police to investigate a third robbery that occurred Wednesday night in Hazel Park at about 11 p.m.
Police said they believe the four men may also be responsible for that incident because the victim's credit card was also found in their car.
All four men have been charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of felony firearm.
