Detroit Zoo Hosts Clothing Drive

POSTED: Saturday, November 7, 2009
UPDATED: 10:51 am EST November 9, 2009

The Salvation Army is collecting used clothing and household goods this weekend at the Detroit Zoo.

Goods and used but usable clothing can be dropped off at a Salvation Army truck in the parking lot of the zoo in the Detroit suburb of Royal Oak on both Saturday and Sunday.

The drive also will be held Nov. 14-15.

Gifts are tax-deductible and a tax receipt will be made on request at the time of donation.

Donations can be made without paying for admission or parking at the zoo.
