MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. -- A 23-year-old man convicted in a sex tape scandal gets additional time tacked on to his sentence after he calls 101 WRIF and brags about the case, said Macomb County authorities.
Brandon Goddard of Harrison Township pleaded guilty to videotaping himself having sex with a 21-year-old woman without her knowledge.
He was convicted of using a computer to commit a crime and as he was waiting for his sentencing he called the radio station's Dog House segment and made even more nasty comments about the victim.
"This girl is a total nut job," said Goddard on the radio. "She decided to tell the cops and say she didn't know she was being recorded."
Goddard -- who was about to get married at the time he made the tape -- said the woman went to police because she was jealous that he wouldn't leave his soon-to be wife.
Police said the woman called authorities after Goddard threatened to publish the tape, which he made using the camera on his laptop.
Macomb County sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant at the home Goddard shared with his wife and parents-in law and found the sex tape.
An official with the Macomb County Prosecutor's office happened to hear the interview and played it before a judge at Goddard's sentencing Wednesday morning.
After already serving 26 days in jail, the convicted felon may have received probation in the case, but that was before the judge heard his radio debut.
"He makes light of a lot of things," said Macomb County Prosecutor Eric Smith. " He essentially makes fun of the victim in this case, clearly showing a lack of remorse."
Goddard was sentenced to 63 days in jail and three years probation.
