Man Steals 6-Pack, Fires 2 Shots At Customer

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. -- St.Clair Shores police are looking for a man who fired two shots at a customer after stealing a six-pack of Heiniken beer from a 7-Eleven Store.
Police said a man wearing a red hooded shirt, jeans and Nike high-top shoes with light blue soles walked into the store on Jefferson Avenue and Statler Road at 1:55 p.m. Friday. He grabbed a six-pack of beer and started walking toward the door.
As he was exiting, the clerk yelled to a customer who was walking in to stop the thief, police said.
The two men wrestled briefly before the thief pulled out a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun, fired two shots at the other man, then ran out of the store and pedaled away on a mountain bike.
Police believe the thief lives in the area of 10 Mile Road and Jefferson Avenue in St. Clair Shores.
The thief is white, 20 years old, 5-feet 7 inches tall and 125 pounds.
No arrests have been made.
