POSTED: 7:31 a.m. EDT June 30, 2003
UPDATED: 7:48 a.m. EDT June 30, 2003

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday after a woman's body was found floating in a Warren drain.

Body Found

A passerby saw the body floating along the banks of the Red Run drain near 13 Mile and Dequindre roads Sunday. Police said it appears the woman had been in the water for a few days.

Police are trying to determine who the woman is and how she died. She is described as a black woman, between the ages of 25 and 35, and was missing several front teeth. She was wearing black pants and a beige sports bra.

Anyone with information should contact Warren police.

The Red Run drain is the river that runs through Warren and several other communities.
