27 mile is reopened after car crashes into electrical tower

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

An early Sunday morning car crash on 27 mile road between Hayes and Schoenherr shut down the road for several hours.

The car crashed into an electrical tower, which caused the road to be shut down while crews fixed it. Police say the road is now reopened.

The condition of the driver is unknown and the cause of the accident is still being investigated.
