Detroit police rounded up a pit bull from a local neighborhood Tuesday after a woman claimed the dog attacked her.

Officers were called to the 6900 block of Clayton Street where a woman was reportedly bit on the lip and hand by a neighbor's pit bull, according to police reports.

Emergency medical technicians treated the woman at the scene.

Police managed to round up the dog into a patrol car and take it to animal control offices.

Local 4 learned the dog would be held for 10 days to make sure it does not have rabies.
