2nd grader suspended for throwing imaginary grenade

School doesn't allow pretend weapons

LOVELAND, CO – A 7-year-old from Mary Blair Elementary School in Colorado was suspended following a game of a pretend.

Alex Evans was suspended for throwing an imaginary grenade on the school's playground.

Apparently, Alex was playing "Rescue the World" and threw the grenade in a box full of "pretend evil forces."

But the act went against school rules.

Those rules include no fighting (real or pretend) and no weapons (real or pretend).
