Three officers suffered from smoke inhalation as police and firefighters rescued several people from a blaze at an Ann Arbor apartment building.
The fire started just after 9 p.m. Sunday at apartments on Packard Road.
The officers were on the scene before firefighters and helped rescued four residents out of the building.
The residents and the police officers suffered smoke inhalation, but were listed in stable condition at a hospital.
The blaze mostly was contained to two apartments in the three-story, six-unit building. Investigators were looking into how the fire started.
