2 suspects arraigned Tuesday on first-degree murder, 3rd arraigned on charge of being an accesory after the fact
Three men have been arraigned in the fatal drive-by shooting of a 6-year-old Saginaw girl. A fourth suspect remains at large.
Police arrested the three suspects Friday. Twenty-two-year-old Levonne J. Greer and 21-year-old Rico Saldana were arraigned Tuesday on first-degree murder and other charges, while 20-year-old Julian C. Ruiz was arraigned on a charge of being an accessory after the fact.
Saginaw County District Judge ordered Greer and Saldana held without bond and set Ruiz's bond at $250,000. A preliminary examination is scheduled Sept. 12.
Layla Jones was killed last Wednesday night in a shooting attack that seriously injured her father, Shawrone Jones.
Police are asking for help in finding 23-year-old Michael D. Lawrence, who's also charged with first-degree murder.
